You dont even have to throw the bottle of coke on the ground.
After dropping te mentos your face will get a wet suddenly from the instant reaction of the diet coke.
After dropping the mentos the diet coke shoots upward.

It will make a rocket. Be careful! You could hurt someone or damage property.

It will shoot up like a rocket. Make sure you throw it cap side down because that's where it'll shoot from. That's where the thrust is. I don't know if you have to use regular Coke or Diet Coke.

Nothing. It has to be DIET COKE and you won't have time to get the lid on if you're thinking it would make an big "explosion." and if you did, the lid would become a projectile and someone could get hurt (probably you). Watch Mythbusters.

it sort of explodes except i tried it once and i couldn't even get the cap on by the time it started exploding!!!
