Usually the younger the children is the more open their subconcious mind is. So they absorb subliminal messages with ease. The consequence of that is the projection of those messages into their minds, that usually happens when they go to sleep.

Yes..as do old people. That is because their mind is not clouded with, how to pay the bills, they hate their job/wife/neighbor etc...
I know of a youngster that saw a ghost and described it to someone. Even though they never saw the ghost person before....

I know a group of preschoolers who saw an angel as they were going through a tornado. They were huddled under a mattress and a lady in white came and told them not to be scared, they would be ok. All had the same story. Children are more open to those things.

Yes! One day, my son was lying in his crib babbling on to someone and then I heard a voice on his baby monitor that sounded just like my deceased grandmother! I looked in his room to make sure he was okay and he was just looking up smiling at something. I think they are more apt to see them b/c they can't understand that there is any other option. Like the people that they will hear that don't believe in that sort of thing later in life.

Yes I think they do. We train ourselves to dismiss things we see.

My friends daughter was very spooky to be around. She would constantly take about "ghost" and would tell you their name. She would carry on conversations with people and talk about things that a normal 2 year old wouldn't know

yes they can because a child is innocent and pure still. My daughter can see dead people. One in particular she calls "That Guy". It freaks me out still, but you can't do anything about it. I believe they can also sense harm and goodness in the sprits, if they seem happy about seeing one then it is good, if they squirm, seem frightened or cry, I'd say it's not a Casper you've got there.

Yes they can. Children and babies are more open and excepting to the spirit world . more innocent and less doubting, so they give off a light that makes them more excepting.

I am not too sure. I know my little nephew talks about a ghost living at my moms house, everytime he goes there he tells her all about it. So I am not sure that they can actually see them but I am sure that they can sense them.

yes, they say small children are the most capable of seeing them. one of our neighbor kids came over to our house one day and went up into my daughter's room to play. after a few minutes we could hear him trying to be quite but calling my husband's name. he wanted my husband to see the "man in the corner". of course we could see nothing. SOME people would say he was just playing make believe, but he was insistant!

Where did you get that babes are unusual creatures?
They see what we see and feel what we feel, and there is no such thing as ghosts, unless the person is possessed ,than i will believe they see stuff.
