for lunch get hamburger helpers, tuna helpers and any other meal in a box. For dinner try things like broccoli and cheese, Mashed potatoes, fruit salad. Take advantage of the fact that your child loves healthy food. You are very lucky. Keep it up.

On your shopping list, include everything you just put here. Then buy things you like. Slowly introduce foods into his diet one at a time. This gives him time to get used to it, and allows you to keep an eye on him for food allergies.
You're off to an excellent start with what you've got there. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Your shopping list so far:
eggs
fruit - preferably fresh if you can
vegetables - again fresh
chicken - breast meat is better than dark
beef hot dogs
ham
turkey
noodles & canned pasta - try to stay away from these on a regular basis. Too much sugar and salt. Look into regular boxed pasta and sauce. They make whole grain pasta, those are best.

Things to think about adding:
Milk - whole not 2% or skim
Juice - 100% not Hi-C
Bread - try the Nature's Best brand, less additatives
Potatoes, white and sweet - mine loved them mashed with a little bit of butter- they still do
Cereal, like Cherrios, not Fruitty Pebbles
Rice
Waffles or pancake mix with a little butter, syrup only if you feel up to the mess
Yogurt
Cheese
Oatmeal - you'll probably have more luck with the fruit kind.

For special treats, try puddings rather than ice cream, cakes or pies. They make toddler cookies and crackers. Look in the baby food isle, or just buy the less suggary ones. Ritz and Club are good choices. Butter and shortbread cookies over chocolate chip.
Good Luck!

Here are some suggestions.
Try yogurt with fresh fruit finely chopped and added for added texture.
I make my kids breakfast burritos sometimes.
I pre cook bacon and sausages, scramble up some eggs and sprinkle some sheded cheese on the before serving.
The meat can be pre cooked, cooled then frozen for later use.

For dessert some night, make a fruit salad, seedles grapes, watermelon, bannanas, strawberries, and any other type of fruit is also good.
for a dip, take a small container of cream cheese and mix it up with equal parts of marshmellow fluff.

Make meatballs out of hamburger, and cook them till brown, add in a can of cream of mushroom soup, simmer till done, serve over plain egg noodles.

Take Ritz crackers and top with meat and cheese, or tuna or egg salad or PB n J for a quick lunch.

Make mini subs using cold cuts and cheeses and hot dog buns.

Cook chicken till done, add in some spaghetti sauce, then top off with provolone cheese and serve over noodles.
add in a salad and youve got a quick and easy supper.

Top english muffins with pizza sauce, mozerella cheese and perporoni for mini pizzas.

Do your self and your child a favor and try and stay away from canned pastas, they have more preservitives in them than nutritional value.

These are just a few of my suggestions, I have tons more LOL

Try the Gerber Li'l Entrees. They have turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy and peas and carrots; spaghetti with sauce and corn; etc. They're not terribly expensive, either...$1.99 a piece in my area (GA). How about Oscar Mayer Lunchables (not the one with the cookies and fruit punch, but the little ones that comes with ham and cheese or turkey and cheese and crakers). He might have fun building his "sandwiches". All you need is some fruit or a vegetable and it's a meal!

You should try to improve your vocabulary so that your son does not learn to speak like a cave man.
other than that, it sounds like you have provided a decent variety of food to him. Have you tried melons? he would probably love some watermelon(seedless). maybe a mango? maybe take a slice of cheese, and a slice of bologna if you are concerned about him eating some meat. I don't think he is ready for steak or any type of meat that is not processed. how about cold cereal, pancakes, p b&j sandwich, oatmeal......Man Im getting hungry!

Feed him what you eat. Just make sure you cut it very small or puree it in a food processor. If you start him with "regular" foods now he will be less likely to be picky later.
