Whenever I try to change my date to a few dates back (for certain reasons), XP automatically changes the date/time. How do I prevent this? I would normally adjust the date/time in the BIOS but I'm running XP in a VM.

Double-click the clock in the lower-right corner of your screen. Click the Internet Time tab. Clear the checkbox next to "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server" and then click Apply and OK to close the window and save your changes.

Double-click on the clock in the task bar (bottom right). Then choose Time Zone tab, and uncheck the box that says "Automatically adjust...." and click OK. Et Voilà!
