Do you prefer people to keep their natural hair color?

Question

I do. I understand that not all hair colors are flattering, but I've sworn to never dye mine. I just prefer to stay with what's given. I'm not opposed to all cosmetic changes, but I definitely like hair to be natural in color.

I like how most agree with me so far, yet I have two thumbs downs for this question, so far. By whom I don't know, but how vindictively funny.

I prefer people that know to use normal colors to dye their hair. If the color is normal and looks OK, then I like it, but I hate when people are using silly colors like:green, red, blue etc they look like clowns. Here there is a woman with a large hair like Homer's wife and it's died half black and half blond like Cruella. Natural color is the true magic and beauty, I agree with you, but we can't change people's minds. I let my hair to choose it's color, when I was a baby I was blond then it become brown now it's a little darker. I will never dye it in another color because it's very visible and this makes you feel artificial and it's not healthy.

My hair is an... interesting color. It's sort of a slight ash brown. The bad thing is: when I'm in the wrong lighting... my hair looks totally Grey. The other bad thing is: the bad lighting occurs a lot.

As much as I dislike my hair color, I refuse to dye it. Dyeing your hair is really bad for your hair. Not to mention, prolonged exposure to the hair dye chemicals (as in dying your hair for many, many years) can cause cancer.

I know if it were up to me my hair would be a different color, my eyes would be a different color, my face a different shape... and on and on. In fact the only thing I like is my insanely long eyelashes.

But either way, just be happy for once that you have hair!

I guess everyone should feel and have the freedom to do whatever they want. Self perception has more to do with self confidence than anything else. If we don't like the way we look then we are not as confident as we otherwise might be. If a little color helps someone gain the confidence they need then that's okay with me.

The kids with the flaming red and orange and purple hair is a bit over the top. But that's their decision and they have to live with it I guess.

Personally, I don't mind at all when people dye their hair for fun... even if they dye it some crazy color!

What makes me sad is when older people feel so self-conscious that they dye their hair to hide the beautiful silver that's growing in. Same with women who get pressured to cut their hair into a short helmet-head because they're "too old" to have long hair, even if they enjoy it.

With the experience i have had,Yes stay natural men like it that way.
When you start coloring it,you have to keep it up and that cost money
also the roots do not look good.I could go on and on about hair one thing
it also drys out the hair,and then you have to cut it off.

I prefer to keep my natural color as well. Dying hairs is actually bad the kidneys or the body in general, and I really don't recommend it. Keep natural hair colors people!

I like the change in color..I prefer to dye.. but my best friend of 38 yrs has dyed her hair since she was 13- so, its your preference.

It's their choice if they want to dye their hair or not. You have probably seen many people with dyed hair and thought that it is their natural color.

sometimes, yes. especially if they have dark hair and try to go blonde, and it ends up looking orange or some funky @ss color. If it looks ridiculous on them, I would prefer that they go back to their natural Do, but sometimes a change can be good.
