Jesus's religioius text: Holy Bible
FSM's religious text: Gospel of the FSM (available at Barnes and Noble)

Same sex marriage -
Jesus's position - no according to Lev 18:22, Rom 1, 1 Corinthian 6
FSM's position - yes according to footnote 2 of chapter 5 on page 66

If my religion, which requires faith, permits same sex marriage in accordance with footnote 2 of chapter 5 of page 66, and the US Constitution in Amendment 1 states the Congress will not establish a state religion, then does this mean that Church's of the FSM can legally marry same sex couples?

How would the founding fathers feel about the Republican push to Amend the US Constitution so that Pastafarians couldn't practice their religion?

Don't believe in him because he comes from the land of Prego.

You answered your own question. It is about FAITH.

No republicans are trying to amend the Constitution to ban pastafarianism.

Any church can marry same-sex couples. Just because a church does it does not mean it will be recognized by the government. They are two separate entities. Even if a same-sex couple got married in a Catholic church it wouldn't be recognized by the government.

Your arguments are silly... almost as silly as a FSM!

It's a very simple choice really.
Jesus existence is a historical fact. We know that he lived on this earth 2000 years ago and not just because it's written in the Bible. There are other, secular documents that mention Jesus.
I know Jesus still lives today, because he changed my life.
I never heard of any proof that the FSM ever lived, nor that it changed anybody's life for the better!
If you still prefer to believe in the FSM then please, feel free to do so.

Jesus created the world?

I guess the fact that Roman documents actually have records of Jesus existing.
The FSM.....well not sure I know enough about him other than I love me some pasta!

Wow because saying Dear Flying Spaghetti Monster is longer and clumsier than the other option.

I have faith in the Creator and not pasta

Funny how people aren't even trying to argue about the empirical equivlance of the FSM and "god"
