I have been looking for a digital camera for 3 months. I bought my Canon A620 on ebay.com which as I saw had the lowest prices ever. I would suggest you by a Canon they are very good and affordable. The one that I have is enough for any non-proffesional photographer and costed me 250$.

There are a number of excellent on-line retailers. Places like BHPhotovideo.com and Newegg.com are always top notch, in both prices, selection and service. But, sometimes you can get better deals from others- such as Buydig.com- which is also quite reputable.
If you find a really great price on the camera you're looking for- be wary. If it's too good to be true, it often is. Check out the on-line retailer at the link below

If you are looking for a fair price and not an arm and a leg for the price of a Canon or Sony.... then try Dell. Then go to www.edealinfo.com for the coupons for digital cameras sale on Dell. You will get a better deal thru Dell than any of the website.
B&H is ok, but they are nothing special about their prices in Sony. They are usually lowering their price on cameras that are getting old or they are overstock. (You usually can tell by checking to see if they have a lower price months later.). Don't be sucker and paid for full price on bestbuy.com or ritzcameras.com. Don't go to pricegrabber because of alot of dealers are notoriously bad in terms of the "bait and switch" tatics. Pricegrabbers list websites that certain companies paid to be listed on their search engine. Usually, some of them are crappy. You can go to www.resellerratings.com and find alot of pricegrabbers to have list alot of scammers.
Take my advice, go to www.edealinfo.com , then check for digital cameras sale for www.dell.com and you'll see the big difference in price.

www.newegg.com. Good prices. Fast, reasonably priced shipping. Check the combo deals, I got an A-data 1gb card free with my Canon A700. So far this card has performed flawlessly, so has the camera.
