I watched an interesting program about the Zoa tribe of S. America and they are completely naked. Well, at least most of them. The thing is, after Adam and Eve sinned and felt naked, shouldn't all humans today be clothed. Why is this tribe naked (and probably others) Does the Adam and Eve sin not apply to them? Does it prove that the entire story is not all it's cracked up to be?

Very good answers...I guess some religious people are too afraid to think enough to actually make a good argument.

No, the argument that they are ignorant does not work. If Adam and Eve felt naked, then logically their decendants would feel the same way no matter what! Nice try though.

To the last answer...how the hell does THAT answer this question? I could not be any clearer...original sin or not, ALL humans should have the inertia to be dressed because of our shame of being naked. The least I could get is a better argument.

It is something that Christians can't answer and come up with a crazy excuse like ignorance. Oh please! If Adam and Eve are our ancestors then ALL of us should be clothed, no matter what. Nili, I wish more people would have been brave enough to answer your question, and shame on the rest of you.

The teaching of original sin says that bad things are not inherent to the universe--that the universe was created to be good and only became bad later on. This holds out the hope that the change could somehow be reversed and that harmony can someday be restored.

No. It only proves that they are ignorant and unlearned where God's Word is concerned. It doesn't make them bad people; it only makes them a people in need of hearing God's Word and being taught respectfully and properly about why clothing became necessary.
