I think any living intelligent being would be fascinated by any other intelligent being. I would be fascinated if I met an Angel. And since they aren't humans, I would imagine they are fascinated with us. The word Angel means messenger. There are other terms for angels in the Bible. Celestial Beings for one. Angels in the Bible usually announce some message to someone, but occasionally they are described as fighting battles, and fighting against evil, or preventing something evil from happening.
I think there are different kinds of angel. Lucifer, now known as Satan was called the Angel of Light. There are Cherubims and all other kinds of Angels. I think there is some danger in getting too interested in Angels, because it distracts from God, and you might end up worshiping Angels instead of God. Also some bad Angels can appear to be good angels and mislead people.
Extra Terrestrials are believed to be Angels by some people, some say they are bad Angels.
Lucifer led a rebellion and 1/3 of the Angels were cast down from Heaven as a result, so that's what I mean by bad Angels, the ones that rebelled against God. I'm not sure if Demons are bad Angels. Demons are referred to as Evil Spirits, whereas Angels actually may be flesh and blood like humans.

How should I know.. no one knows for sure what every angel does. I'm sure they each do different stuff, but I do believe angels appear in human form sometimes and help people and then dissapear from those ppl's lives like on touched by an angel.... I know a person who claims to have been helped by one or some human sent by an angel or something, don't know how true that is but I sure in some cases that happens

I have read from Christian literature that they envy us because God gave us free will. Angels do not have the ability to choose to follow God or not. God gave us the choice to do right or wrong, and they supposedly are envious of us.
According to the Bible, Lucifer (Satan) was God's favorite angel. He was right up there with Michael and Gabriel the Arch Angels. When he proclaimed he would not serve God he was cast into hell and banished forever. Humans were not given that same fate. If we sin we are given chance after change to redeem ourselves and make it to heaven. Human also have souls, and angels do not. All of this could lead up to the assumptions that angels are fascinated by humans.
Anyway, these are not entirely my beliefs and I didn't put them here to preach. Just what I have read and things I have been told growing up with a Catholic background.

First of all there's no such thing as angels the way we think of them... you know as these good like creatures... however there's human angels and that's the best and only kind there is. Human who do good deeds, truly good deeds... they're angels and they're bored and fascinated by all us weir-does walking the face of the earth

Hmmm.
I mean we and they are created by GOD.
Yet we are so different, though somehow the same.
I don't know.
We are often,"ENTERTAINED" by angels and we do not even realize it.
I am not doing to well at answering this question.
I believe in angels, but I do not really "study them.
As for your other part of the question, I am sure they are here on EARTH to keep us out from untimely HARM, or DEATH.

Not necessary.
They observe activities on earth just as they observed activities in Sodom and Gomorrah. The men of Sodom wanted to have sex with the angels. Of course, the angels took note of this behavior and the fire and brimstone came later.
Now, they are not here for man's destruction, but to assist man in his spiritual crises.

I'm Pagan, but, I know a bit about angels... and let ME tell YOU...
... they have no genitals.
Wouldn't you stare in splendor at creatures that look like you having sex if you could never have sex?
And thing about the wings! They have wings, we don't! It's just like when you see people who have no legs. You feel bad for them and wonder how they manage to get along with life without it.

I personally Believe that they are Responsible for the "Reap what you Sow" stuff.
I Believe that's why we will Judge them Later.
