It had an effect, somewhat, on my decision NOT to have a child. I don't want to raise a child only to have them herded into a classroom with 40 other kids and a teacher who's oblivious to 90% of them. Also, I believe that the current population is stressing the resources of the government and the world as a whole, and it's gotta break sometime.
I have other reasons for not wanting a child also, but I wont get into that here.

some human beings surely must have the adventure of wearing and handing over a toddler. that is not a egocentric wish, yet a organic one. IVF can provide an option to mothers who might have an abnormality that does no longer enable them to conceive needless to say. IVF comes at an exceptionally intense value (in many cases greater suitable than 20,000 money). Adoption is fantastic too, and that is super which you gave residences to 2 infants.

I cannot accept your premise that the world is over-populated. You accept what others tell you without examining the facts. I'm guessing you are a liberal based on that. If you are angry and calling me names for saying that then I am right.
However, you can place every person alive on Earth today in the state of Texas. Let's do the math.
Texas has 261,797 Square Miles of Dry Land.
5280 feet in one mile = 27,878,400 square feet in a square mile, x 261,797 square miles = 7,298,481,484,800 square feet of dry land in Texas. Divided by 6,000,000,000 (approx.) people on Earth = 1216.4 square feet each. Granted that would be a bit crowded but look at how much space is left available.
If you stand everyone shoulder to shoulder and pack 'em in like sardines you could get everyone in Duvall County Florida--twice.

Our world isn't overpopulated, you are just misinformed. People are just misusing and abusing our world. But God created it to hold many more people, if not He would fix the problem. Have you given any thought to all of the poor spirits in heaven who are waiting to come to earth and get bodies? Maybe people should just take better care of the Earth and work on educating people in poverty. And on top of that people should only get pregnant when they can take care of and want children, think of safe sex or adoption. I plan on having 2 more kids and I already have 3!

Actually, that is a good question. I think everybody just thinks having children is great because you are bringing a new life into the world..but, honestly..how many more lives can this world handle before our resources run out?
But, personally, I still want children..but good question anyways!

Well, I only want 2 kids, but not because of overpopulation thing... I want two kids because more than two is too much to handle. I can barely handle my two cats as it is.
And to bender.... the previous post.... love how you classify vegeterians as useless population. Hah. Wow.

People are dying every day. As long as people keep having unprotected sex and getting AIDS, dying in natural disasters, starving to death, etc. soon all the "extra people" will die out. Over population didn't deter me from having two kids, and it won't deter me from having the third one, when I'm ready.

I have three and will probably have another. I think that if you are really worried about overpopulation then you shouldn't have kids. Keep it your business. Besides, where I live, it is vastly underpopulated so it seems to be quite a ridiculous argument.

I'm not too worried about reproducing. I sense that in Bengladesh, they'll make up for the difference.
