what should i do to get ready for school?

it is back to school time again and can you give me some tips one what i should do.

1. get the supplies suggested on the list your school sent you (if they did)
2. set a bed time that is right for you. you want to get a good amoutn of sleep. it helps you learn.
3. set a time for playing and doing homework. and for every hour of work have a 10 minutes break.
4.have everything ready and done before the next day that way its not hectic in the morning.

Start shopping for school supplies as early as possible. Like now! So u'll be able to pick out things u like and not be stuck with whatever's left. Pick out school clothes or search for ones that u might possibly want to wear, so when there's a sale, u'll know what u want and won't be stuck there forever. Get a new look, if u want one that is, by getting a haircut or something along those lines. Three days before the actual day, make sure u have everything u need and that it's packed and ready. Two days before, pick out an outfit. The day before, chill out!

depends on what grade you're going into...I'm going into a ninth grade acclerated program, and I did the following:
1. read both books from my reading list plus another from the sophmore list
2. studied Vocabulary Workshop
3. took a class on speed reading (for studying)
4. made bookmarks
5. got templates from microsoft.com
6. bought a Microsoft XP student software kit from Office Depot
7. got several folders and labeled them for CLASS PERIODS, not CLASS NAMES
8. bought 2 bookbags
9. hung around Augusta State University in my city for a while, job shadowing professors and reading in the library
10. I READ A LOT!!! Classic Shakespeare, Dickens, Ellison, poetry...you name it, I read it.
