MY DAUGHTER IS 11 AND I GOT HER HAIR LAYEREDBECAUSE IT WAS STRAIGHT AND JUST HUNG THERE-- NOW IT HAS ALOT OF BODY AND MOVEMENT- ITS NOT BAD FOR YOUR HAIR- IN FACT ITS HEALTHY BECAUSE YOU ARE GETTING RID OF DEAD ENDS AND ALSO MAKING IT LOOK HEALTHIER AND STYLISH... I HAVE A PIC OF MY DAUGHTERS HAIR HOW IT TURNED OUT LYERED IF YOU AND YOUR MOM WANT TO LOOK AT IT- ITS REALLY NOT BAD FOR THE HAIR THOUGH

You can always curl it. Sometimes curling the hair under instead of the usual corkscrew style makes it appear cut, like Jessica Simpson's here:

Although her hair is actually cut, u can curl under this way so it appears cut.

well my hair is layered but you cannot see it because my hair is curly/wavy. so only when its straightened.

But if you go to a good hair salon (please nothing like super cut) they will have the perfect ideas for you and you can choose which on you like

I would suggest a side part and highlights of blonde, red and little tiny itsy bittsy bits of black but if not black then try a really dark brown!
