yes i do.
also my father who is now a bible thumping christian seems to be doing the same. the first half of my life he tried to beat the spirit out of me and now he is trying to save my soul.
i really can't tell if he is for real or not.
i think he might be trying to buy his way into heaven or something like that.

Yep, there are plenty of them, don't like to hang out with them, there are fakes in everything though - not just religion. (And they all need Jesus, right? -- whether or not they go to church...)
But in churches, and out of them too, there are also people who are serious about their relationship with Jesus Christ. I like to be around these people. They are cool people, and their family likes to be around them too.
I knew one such old man when I was a teenager. He just had this almost - well, like a glow about him, always smiling. You didn't have to wonder if there was a God, because when you looked at him, you knew he was walking with God. He was God's child. Totally cool man. I respected him immensely.
By the way, God doesn't approve of the lying cheating, and wife/kid beatings. The guy, in my opinion, needs to taste his own medicine.

I have heard of stuff like that happening, seen it in my own family,(cousins, aunts, uncles...) these people haven't renewed their minds to God's way of doing things, and you can't blame the church, the pastor or God, because true christianity is a relationship and every relationship requires efforts from BOTH parties! God's done His part. It's up to us to do ours, by doing what's right AT HOME and at church.

I'm sure there are many, but god is the judge and who knows maybe some day they will actually get saved. When the rapture takes place it will separate the true Christians from the game players.

O yes, I know several, and they are active participants in parish life. My ex-husband was one; when I had enough of his emotional and verbal abuse and left him, he smeared me around the church to everyone. Six months later he fell off the face of the earth. Of course that was 6 years ago, and I'm still around.

oh of cores...those are called Hypocrites...they act like they love and respect God but realy they do the opposite...(fake cristians) they are the ones that Judge ppl and tell them that they are going to hell bcuz they dont believe in God....Im a God fearing girl I dont claim any "holy" group but I do try my best to do right by God....but any way I dont understand how so called "cristians" can set there and judge ppl like that when they dont no what God is doing with those ppl that dont belive in him....yeah the Bible dose tell us if we dont accept the Lord as our saivor then we wont get to heaven..but now like I said we can not be the one that tells ppl if there going to hell or not becuz God might do some thing in those ppls lives that proves to them that he is real

I'm sure there are thousands upon thousands of so called religious believers who are like that. We must try and save people who believe in God.

I know there are many nice people who believe in God, and they wouldn’t intentionally harm anyone. I suspect they would be just as nice if they didn’t believe in God, it’s just how their biological model works for them.

The real evil amongst us, are the vast majority of religious followers and believers who have clearly shown over time to be the major instigators of wars, violence, abuse, greed and practically everything evil on our planet.

We must stop innocent young lives, especially from birth, from being sucked into this evil religious trap. Humanity deserves at least an effort being made in this direction rather than just watching religion and the so-called do goody goody followers corrupting our world with evil.
