my ex-boyfriend wants to go out again but i dont want to.how do i say no without hurting him?

Always tell the truth in situations like this, because it causes much less painful overall. If you are not clear in your answer to him, it will hurt him more in the long run because he will not give up when he should. Trust me, it's the best thing you can do for him. It will probably hurt either way, but he will suffer less if you just tell him directly. Good luck!

There are a few things you could say. Like I don't feel a romantic connection with you. or, that you simply don't want to date anyone right now. or tell him that you can be friends with him but you don't feel that your a perfect match. These things may not tickle his ego. but don't torture yourself over hurting his feelings. You seem like a very caring person. What you must realize honey is that if you're not right for each other you aren't doing him any favors by continuing seeing him....it will only prolong the inevitable. I know it's not easy, but it will better for you both in the long run. good luck hon!

uhh dont ask me cuz in all of my cases the guys always get hurt. All of my friends have said no trying their best not to hurt them but they get hurt no matter what. if u tell them no they want an answer. if u tell them ur not my type then they want to try and figure out what ur type is. if u say it wouldnt work out they want to know why it wouldnt. sorry to say but i dont know of any way to not hurt him

No chance. It sounds like you went out for a while and he's hung up. Break his heart or he'll never leave you be. If you're that worried about it, a friendship wouldn't be salvagable anyway.

Just letting him no that you need time to get yourself together. Telling him no what keep him down a long time because they will find someone fast. If it was meant to be it will be.
