Some of the questions from young teenagers are mind boggling and show they don't have a clue on how to prevent pregnancy or STD..Give them a break and teach them. My oldest daughter was born 9 months after my senior prom so I learned fast that the pull out method don't work and vowed my kids would be smarter

We began talking about where babies come from when I was expecting my daughter - my son was 3 1/2 when she was born. He was accustomed to seeing me nurse her so he understood breasts were for nourishment before he decided they were just there to look good, too!! As they ask questions, I answer them. I give them exactly what they need to know, no gory gross-out details!, but they are not ignorant. I was conceived while my mom was still in high school & vowed, much like yourself, never to go through that & that my children would know better. My ex-husband doesnt' think they need family life in school - he would keep them as ignorant as he was, I think. Good for you - education is the light against the darkness of ignorance!
