I have, in the past, believed that I was swayed one way or another by an unseen force. This is what I called 'Good' or 'Evil'. This is very black and white isn't it? I now believe that 'Good' & 'Evil' forces are a cop-out and shows that people cannot take responsibility for themselves or their actions. This is not logical, it is hurtful to individuals and the human race as a whole....isn't it? Show me your feelings!

every human being should show personal responsibility for their actions .. not blaming god when something is bad or praising him when things have went good ..
nor blaming Satan for temptations or evil doing
our actions are our actions , they belong to us
i personally do believe in god .. but i believe him to be the creator and an observer
i don't believe in a devil figure ..
and i take full responsibility for myself .. bad and good !

It's completely logical. Each individual is completely responsible for their evil decisions and actions as well as their good decisions and actions. It's called free-will.

Certainly there's evil forces out there...it's just that most of the time, people repel these forces...that is, choose to not do evil. Even very "evil" people don't spend the majority of their time doing evil things.

Many people seem to regard evil is a 'thing'... something that has some form of corporeal existence in the physical universe. In that sense, evil does NOT exist.

Evil 'exists' only as an abstract concept... one that is 'dualistic' in nature. 'Evil' cannot 'exist' without 'good'. They are the two sides of the same coin, in the Yin/Yang sense. One cannot 'exist' without the other; neither can be defined or described except in terms of the other.

Good/evil is further abstracted in the sense that it represents a 'judgement'... not a 'thing'. As a judgement, good/evil is wholly subjective, since it relies entirely upon the 'criteria' that is employed in making the judgement.

So, the real issue is not good/evil per se... rather it is the criteria that people use in making their judgements of good/evil.

Since we are pretty much all wired the same, and share pretty much the same cultural values in a larger sense, we usually find ourselves on common ground when we judge questions such as "Was Hitler evil?", since we can agree on the criteria. However, we should realize that if Hitler had been asked the question "Are you evil?", he most certainly would have been thoroughly offended by the very idea. According to HIS criteria, he would have seen his actions as good, for his people and for 'The Fatherland'.

When we get down to subtler questions, where someone's 'criteria' might depend upon interpretation of a particular bible verse, for example, these kinds of judgements can get a little stickier.

Remember, though... it's not really about good/evil, it's really about criteria... which ultimately comes down to one's moral compass.

Good and evil are two opposing forces in your mind. You are always there in the middle to make a choice. In whatever you do, think or say, there is always something that you have to consider..is it right or wrong? will I be happy or sad? is my kind of right acceptable to me, to others, to all, to many or to few.... will I be ready to accept the consequences or not?....then you make a choice...THE POWER LIES WITHIN YOU ONLY....allow others to influence you or don't allow yourself to be influenced by outside forces... of course there are forces beyond your own power to control and that is when you will need help from others such as your God, (if you believe), your parents, siblings, neighbors, friends and sometimes props around you. Of course' there are actions that will affect you or the others. Can it make someone happy or could it hurt? Those are the facts of life. Accept the consequences of your every action. Accept that there are things you can change and cannot. Put in your mind the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi when he was asking the Lord to make him an instrument of peace, so you may not worry so much. Do not look for someone or anything to blame when things go wrong. Be yourself and look within.....

Both are forces that need living mediums to be seen or felt, but never both at the same time in one medium.
The most logical way to prove them is to use them, which you do every day anyway.
For some good is evil, and evil is good.
The majority says evil is bad and good is good ?

good and evil are forces...people are just the poor shmucks beign influenced by them. Its like sunlight and moonlight both differen but we need both of them...oppostites ying and yang...all religions talk of two oppsite forces working togheter but against each other. Very similar but very different because they bring different outcomes to humanity. When YOU figure out which is which then YOU choose what to do. EVIL is not black or white, it looks very much good, so don't be fooled. Sorry to say, theres not one absolute i can give you. God is good, but he created evil to test men's hearts go figure. (and for those that say God didnt create evil...then where did it come from, what isnt created is a god itself...marinate on that)

Good and evil are indeed real. I have seen a possessed man try to cut his own head off and it took 5 fully grown men to subdue him but there was just a look in his eyes that i just knew i wasnt looking at him i was looking at A shark or something dreadful. If your looking for substantial proof that good and evil exist do not wait until you die to figure it out because theres no coming back from death.

It's simple. I hope you know when you are doing something wrong. Do you get the feeling like it's wrong? That's the force of evil. The force of good is the exact opposite. Do you get a warm feeling inside when you do a good deed? That's the force of good.
