Well to tell the truth we don't laugh at either group. Children simply don't have the intellectual capacity for understanding that Santa is imaginary.
Christians on the other hand should know better. So we don't laugh at them either. Do you laugh at the retarded guy on the street? No, that's just cruel. Same thing.

I informed my 6 twelve months previous (he's 11 now) the tale of Saint Nicholas. I defined he died an prolonged time in the past, and now we save on the traditon of giving presents at Christmas time like he did. i might upload, that there are mythical legends surrounding the tale of Saint Nicholas yet i do no longer think of alot of those are equipped to infants. I additionally informed him the tale approximately Jesus and that the sensible adult adult males from the east gave presents to toddler Jesus. There are a ton of myths and legends surrounding alot of historic figures, even Jesus, inspite of the undeniable fact that it would not recommend we can not derive any good out of the useful and greater precise memories approximately them. We additionally comprehend the tale approximately Santa Clause, yet my son is conscious it extremely is a completely made up tale and that Santa did no longer exist. he's in basic terms a mystical make-have self belief version of the genuine Saint Nicholas. I instruct my son the certainty, yet we nonetheless we've relaxing with the memories and traditions.

God is a real person; Santa was a character that was based on a real person hundreds of years ago in Europe (Germany? Not quite sure which country) that was a toy maker and, once a year, passed out toys to the boys and girls in his village. Santa came from that particular person with a name similar(here in the states) as Chris Kringle. The going through chimneys and leaving nothing but cookies for him to eat and the reindeers, they were all added for the sake of children, to make it more "magical" for them.
So, you see, God is real and Santa was based on a real person from Europe.
I do not believe in Santa, but I do believe the spirit of the person who had the right intentions on making a belief of a Santa Claus.
Of course, I believe in God, too.

Any adult who would laugh at a child is cruel and mean. Any adult who would laugh at another adult's beliefs is also cruel and mean. Why do you care what others believe? Live and let live. Oh, first I guess you would have to get a life.

Would you laugh at a child who still believed in santa clause and was dying?
For adults, acutely aware of their own mortality, they are in a sense 'dying' - eventually. If they turn to god for comfort, it is pretty cruel to laugh at them in my opinion.

Because Santa Claus is mean and not real. He is a lie and doesn't bring gifts to good boys and girls but rich boys and girls.
to believe in him is cruel and not fair to poor kids.
Everythng is geared to make rich people happy. Wether it is the truth or a big fat lie.
God is real and when you lie to your kids so much eventually they won't believe the truth about God.

Yes, Santa's been unmasked. Turns out, he's really every person who gives another a gift. Perhaps that is who God really is, too?
