As a kid or teen, what's something you regret you did or said to your parents? I remember I was supposed to come right home after the sr. prom and insted me and my bf drove to the lake. It was a disaster because the car died at the lake and we were stuck at the lake all night! No cell phones. My mom was horrified!

Like previous answer I was no angel as a youth either. On many occassions the police would show up and arrest my mom's son (me). She did her best to raise me as a good guy, and did it by herself as my dad died when I was three. But I remember once when I was about 15 I came home drunker than a skunk and raised hell. Punched holes in walls and made a mess of belongings. I did feel remorseful in morning but that didn't stop my behaviour and I continued to make some serious life choices. My mother stood by me then and now that I am older and we are good friends she continues to love me unconditionally. I am very grateful for my mother and have tried to make amends to her as best I could. But like she warned me (back when I was young and knew everything) it did come back to bite me in the rear as I witnessed my kids doing some of the same things and making the same silly life choices as I did. So watch what you do because Karma has a lot of power and a long memory.

THE WORST THING I EVER DID TO MY PARENTS WAS LETTING MY EX HUSBAND GET ME HOOKED ON DRUGS AND STEALING FROM THEM WHILE MY MOTHER WAS SICK AND DYING.
