I don't know if you are aware, but the drug that is used to tranquilize animals dissipates. That is why you see the big cats awaken from the induced sleep on TV. This means, there will not even be a trace of the drug found in the meat when it is cooked.

Depends on the tranq. Most only work when in the bloodstream and not when digested.
