Because He loves us more than any of us could ever possibly imagine!
He loved us enough to pay the price for our sins so that we would not have to. He loves us so much that He ultimately gave His life to be able to be with us, and so that we could know Him and have a relationship with Him. He was willing to do everything and give everything for us because of His love for us.
Many blessings.

Actually, he didn't "die on the cross". Christ, as preached in the first century, was conceived and regarded wholly as a spiritual being, revealed through 'midrash'... reinterpretation of old testament scripture in a 'modern' context, under the influence of the 'Holy Spirit', an emanation from the godhead, similar to Greek 'Logos'. Early Christianity was just one of many 'salvation cults', which were a dime-a-dozen around that time in the Middle East. The idea of representing Jesus as an actual historical figure was not hatched until around the beginning of the 2nd century.
In other words, Jesus is entirely a fictional character.

Jesus died on an upright timber with his hands nailed together over his head so that he would suffocate a torturous death as the Son of man--a perfect life sacrificed for the perfect life lost by the first man Adam. Up until Christ was sent by The Most Holy Father, Creator, YHWH God, the people were required to follow The Law and the animal sacrifices for atonement and guilt and sin. The Law was nailed to the stake with the Christ and opened up The Way for all of mankind to be forgiven through and in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Yeah know ...I just never did get that. I read the bible ... and don't buy into this part. I think Steven King, Dean Koontz or a thousand other writers could come up with a more elegant scenario. I picture Fred Flintstone saying ...'Yup guess I'll sacrifice my only living son today ... I just can't figure out anything other way". But GOD ....? No, my GOD would have done this somewhat differently.

Because of sin, we are witnesses of the reality of sin and what it does. That is why God had to die to redeem us and he will come again and save us and rid the universe of sin, sinners and the devil Satan forever.
Before there was sin, no one knew really what it was it was just a bad thing. But sooner or later it would arise and Lucifer united it and therefore in God's infinite wisdom sin is allowed to be played out so that the character of God will be seen and that all the warning before was warranted.
Sin will never again rare its ugly head because God will not allow it again and we wont either because we see what it causes.
Even God had to pay for sin by the death of His only son, which was no ordinary death - no man or woman on earth every had that death - he died for the world everybody who died already died for them self.

So HE could LEGALLY get into HELL and Take Back what Adam LOST.
JESUS give's this to ANYBODY who will Believe in HIM.
Adam lost AUTHORITY.
Over the Creation (EARTH and Star System)
And gave it to Satan and his Angel's(who Kill, Steal and Destroy).
JESUS had to Die the Death of a Sinner, to LEGALLY enter into HELL. It was the ONLY WAY HE could get in there LEGALLY.
GOD has to do Thing's Legally.
Hope this helps.

Jesus was accused of disaffection towards the state or constitued authority, which is, Sedition, a term of law to refer to covert conduct such as speech and organization that is deemed by the legal authority as tending toward insurrection against the established order. Jesus died because of HATRED. Anti-Semitism (alternatively spelled antisemitism) is hostility toward or prejudice against Jews as a religious, ethnic, or racial group, which can range from individual hatred to institutionalized, violent persecution. Jesus died as an example to us, to show us the meaning of Peace, (commonly understood to mean the absence of hostilities). "Peace I give to you"

Because his father chose to torture and murder him on the cross. Jesus Christ is the biggest child abuse victim in history.
