I use hrblock online filing program for personal taxes. Can I still use it? My business will be opened to public from November. Is it better to give to an accontant?

I own a small hair salon and have been in business 5 years. I have found that getting an accountant or cpa to do my taxes really pays off. They can find deductions that we would never think of. It doesn't cost that much, and the fee is a tax write off for the next year!

Never try to do a business tax return unless you are well educated and trained. You will be much better off to go to an accountant. Stay away from H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt, Liberty. Find someone who works with taxes everyday, not 3 1/2 months out of a year.

Its better to keep good records and go to a Jackson Hewitt Tax Service office. Most entrepreneurs are afraid of depreciaton and the Sec 179 deduction, you also have amortization involved so personally.........I would fly out to my offices......but any JH office will do much better than an H & R block and you should not do it on your own. You want someone that will go to bat for you if you get audited. Thats what Jackson Hewitt does! You do not need to waste the money on an accountant if your books are up to date!
