How can I delete something from the toolbar of my desktop?

90% of the time I find if you highlight what you want to delete the hit the "delete" key on the keyboard that works
Or click on the little arrows surrounding the icons on the toolbars, because everyone is a drop-down menu. Then look for options and adjust accordingly.

if you mean the task bar at the bottom you can just right click on the item and then pick delete.

go to control panel. then my computer to delete it all. then empty recycling bin.
