Why are you religious people so nutty. Serriously - do you really think that youve dedicated you time wisely trying to preach religion to those who dont want to hear it - to those who have enough pride to actually think for themselves and not try to blame their own shortcommings on some dude that died almost 2000 years ago. Do you really need someone to instruct you on ho wto be a good person?

Bring on the "Im praying for you", "jesus died for your sins" and all the other whacky boilerplate comments you folk like to throw around

Dear Stilmpy, You said
"P.P.S "Darwin was right" is such a novel statement too. Never heard that "boiler plate comment" before. Clearly you are a highly-evolved thinker who displays far superior thinking qualities. "

Thank you. I know it was a novel statement - thats why I said it! And its true - I am a highly evolved thinker who displays superior thinking qualities. I would like to thank millions of years of evolution for that one. That dosent come naturally - it has to be bred into you and that only happenes after millions of years of evolution.

Ok so some of you are arguing that God created everything and is responsible for the existance of everything.

Riddle me this - if he is so against contraception why did he invent spermacide that is ont he condoms people use when they have premarital sex.

Contrany to what you believe life can and has been created in a lab. What about Dolly the sheep - what - did god suddenly decide to visit Scottland a decade ago, go into a lab and create a sheep - for fun?

If us "religious people" are nutty, then what are you? Normal? Big stinking deal. If I'm right, and you are wrong, that means one day you will die and you will be judged by God. And I'll be the nut who gets into heaven.

I do not blame my shortcomings on "some dude" that died almost 2000 years ago. I take the blame for my sins, and He took the punishment. The bible is not merely instructing me to be a "good person", by the way, and I don't understand why you would ask such a question if you don't have a whole lot of knowledge about the Bible, and I'm assuming you don't with that question.

Oh, and...

I'm praying for you.

Sounds to me like you need someone to instruct you on how to be a good person. You are trusting Darwin's theory, ok. Then defend them. How did that micro organism that all life sprang from start. With all man knowledge about the atmosphere and conditions of the primordial world. Life still can't be reproduced in a lab. Oh yes a chemical reaction take place in a mixture of the chemicals when an electric charge is introduced but when the charge is removed the chemicals return to their former state. If it "just happened" then with guidance from a scientist then it should have been a slam dunk.. Life doesn't come from lifelessness. The ONLY logical explanation for life is the creative powers of God...Jim

There are nutty people everywhere...religion has nothing to do with it.

It's my time and I will spend as I please. In other words, none of your bidness! Sorry, that was my flesh speaking. God / Jesus commanded us to spread the Gospel. If you don't want the hear it, you only need to say so...and we will be on our way! ((BTW, why are you in this forum if you don't want to hear about "religion?"))

Looks like that's your problem...you are prideful (you said it, I didn't). Probably arrogant, too. Oh wait...that shows from your rant / post. ((What was I thinking!?!!?) lol

As a Christian, I don't blame anything on Jesus. I take responsibility for my sins. He died for my sins (and yours too)!

Your next question has a couple of miss-spelled words...but will get out my decoder ring...I was a good person before I was a Christian...but I was still a sinner. Now I'm a new creation in Christ (I hope one day you will understand that statement).

You know the truth (Holy Bible) and you have chosen to ignore it. That's why God gave you free will; to choose. You will be held accountable for your every thought, action and word. We all will!

Since Charles Darwin was a Christian and he denounced he own theory (did you get that...theory, no proof) you are correct in saying he was right!

Grace to you and God Bless! (Even though you don't believe it doesn't change the fact that God loves you...even when you sin). God hates the sin, not the sinner!

Here's one for you...

Science vs. God

A Scientist says to God, we can create a man; breathe life into his nostrils...so, we don't need you.

God says, interesting...show me.

So the Scientist bends over the earth beings to form the dirt...

God says, Oh...no, no, no...

I'm not sure who is the dude that died almost 2000 years ago. Is that supposed to be Jesus because I don't think any Christians are blaming their shortcomings on Jesus. Might want to check into your math on that one.

As for the time dedicated to preaching religion, it is our time to use as we wish. One of the greatest gifts God gave us was freedom of choice. I use it my way, you use your gift your way.

Yes, we do need someone to set an example on how to be a good person. It sounds like you could use that benefit as well. After all we are all imperfect (because we inherited Adam's sin who died a wee bit more than 2000 years ago), and because of that we say and do things that are imperfect. And we need Jesus' example and God's spirit to keep us from telling people like you what we really think of you.

I think for myself quite well. And I don't assume that because other people don't believe what I believe that they don't think for themselves. Why assume that Christians are incapable of thinking for themselves? Who told you that? Did you come up with that by yourself after in-depth research and close exposure to many Christians or did you just accept what your friends, peers, family, or even just one interaction with one person as a basis for that statement? Think about that.

P.S. If Darwin was right, why are closed-minded, myopic nuts like you still around? If he was right, shouldn't all of us feeble-minded, idiotic Christians be gone by now?

P.P.S Oh, and I'll pray for myself and ask for forgiveness for saying these mean things.

P.P.S "Darwin was right" is such a novel statement too. Never heard that "boiler plate comment" before. Clearly you are a highly-evolved thinker who displays far superior thinking qualities.

Oh, let me introduce you to the idea of sarcasm lest you think I was actually flattering your thinking abilities.

I think you're right, except for the Darwin thing. You have one main fallacy: seems you're trying to make belief in Darwin's theory as a susbtitute for Creationism, except Creationism isn't the subject of your question/post. Darwin has nothing to do with Christianity or any faith system, so you actually should have said "oh, and I believe in the big bang."

Educate your mind.

I am beginning to think that all of you really want to hear the words of the Lord, if you not you sure ask a lot of questions. You hide it under name calling and bashing, but in reality you are seeking for something more in your life, and you want to know what it is all about. As long as you keep asking, I will continue to answer. May God Bless, and for info I forced nothing upon you I just replied to your remarks.

I like to think of myself as spiritual. I am shamed by the behavior of the peeps you are talking about. I don't argue with anyone's right to believe what they believe. I bear any burden of proof. Atheist and to Bible thumper, all are okay with me. There is room enough on our planet for all of us. I agree to disagree. I do resent peeps that get in my face. Those same peeps you speak of get in my face. Why? I believe in the 2000 year old God-man. Let's just try to fill our own space and enjoy the diversity.

wow I got to tell you the only thing a christian has done in the way of "preaching" is invite me to church. I see notihing wrong with that. I have found that when someone is preaching at you if you say you are not interested they will stop. Most people that aren't religious start the converation themselves.

Darwin admitted that he was wrong. Thats something they don't teach you, I know. Cause what would people think if the one who came up w/ a theory, that a lot of people follow intently w/ their lives, is the 1st one to say it's wrong? Aja.....thats what I thought....

Oh, and btw, we spend our time telling you the Good News (A.K.A the Gospel) b/c it's what we were sent to do. It's our mission, not that you'd understand. If you don't like it, tough. Deal w/ it, but stop complaining.

Bad Pooh_bear...no preaching allowed.
Sane_nut: yes everyone is entitled to their beliefs, but to have them impose on us as a dumb preaching answer to a question, is not exactly a humanitarian thing to do. I have morals, they say "Let not be preached to, or thou shall smack the b$%@# up"
Did you not hear about the Jehovah Witnesses who last tried to preach to me? I think they converted to christianity..

Maybe religious people have it backwards? Maybe God hates you more and more with those annoying prayers you say everynight...
