My son once got into a "throw down" with an Asian man/boy. He tried to hit him with a "wonton shake-down", but my boy turned the tables on him and hit him with a "jackhammer"... in his rear. All I know for sure is that the little man spent the next few days trying to take a crap sideways.

Its a 50/50 chance. It use to be traditional for all young Asians to learn karate from the get go, But not anymore (Karate is the Japanese word for martial arts). One of the best ways to tell if he is a martial artist, is how he carries himself and does he walk on the outside edges of his feet. If he carries himself well, there is a good chance your gonna be a hurting puppy in the morning. The same thing goes for the walking.
Why don't you try to be his friend first and maybe you'll be able to work something out with him that way. Or maybe talk to your HR dept. and see if they will allow you to post a sign with your name on it @ that spot. Peaceful means is always the best way.
Sounds to me like you really need to read the book, The Art of War. It will help you in this situation as well as most any, if you can see its teachings from a business and life point of view.
P.S. I'm a little confused as to how all these people think your a racist. I think they are reading in to your question way to much and need to chill. Racist=no, Confused/uneducated=YES.

Your ethnic comments shows what a spineless coward RACIST you are! I hope this Asian guy KICKS YOUR COWARD ASSSSS!!!
You do not own any parking spaces! All tax-payers have a right to park anywhere legally permitted!!!
For your ignorance Toyota is made in JAPAN and is one of the best built and durable cars in the world. It would outlast your crummy GMC or FORD!
If you had any class about the whole situation you would approach the guy like a gentleman and not provoke a fight. But, that seem hopeless because you are a STEREOTYPING RACIST INBREED!!!! I hope he drop-kicks you in the head!!
Comment to 'DIGGS': I do not have to be Asian to speak out against racist pigs like the idiot asking the question above.
Would it surprise you if I am American by birth and nationality?
Well I leave that question to you or anyone else who feels you are supposed to be a particular ethnicity when you speak up against uneducated imbeciles like the one asking the above question.

If he's truly Chinese, the chances of him knowing Karate are slim. Why? Becuase Karate is a martial art practised by the Japanese, not Chinese.
He might know Kung Fu or Wu Shu, or Wing Chun, or Tai Chi. But chances are you could still whoop up on him if he knows those martial arts because it takes years and years of study of those to be effective in a fight.

Well first off- if he is into martial arts- truly- he wouldn't use them for a parking dispute. It goes against the honor of the knowledge of martial arts, not to abuse your knowledge. Only to be used in self-defense. Try asking like a person and not like a person with a chip on his shoulder. People can read sincerity and also hostility.

Most Asian Americans do not know martial arts. That is an untrue stereotype. So unless he's waiting out there in a karate uniform, I wouldn't worry.
On the other hand, assault is against the law and willl get you arrested. So don't attack him. And if he does attack you, you can get him arrested.

I think lajalousie1 is one pissed off Asian!
Just go talk to the guy and explain in a nice manner what the situation with the parking spot is. If he is a ninja or kung fu guy just remember what Mr. Miyagi teach you Daniel son.

The chances are same as that of an American being a businessman, and Indian being a yogi.
I would advise just to confront him and tell him about his horrible parking. You may be surprised by his answer.

Glad to hear you judge people by stereotypes. Maybe the black man will steal it, or maybe the white man will cry about it instead of just politely asking him to not use a spot reserved for another like a mature adult.
