Stalin killed because he was running a totalitarian state, much like the kind of state that the Vatican used to run, but these people fail to mention that.

Stalin attended a freaking CHRISTIAN SEMINARY when he was young. They also tend to leave that little inconvenient fact out.

I think what Stalin did was wonderful. The world should have NO religion. I do not like Stalin, nor do I like the things he did, but when it comes to religion, he was very smart. The church should be seperated from the state, and people should not be allowed to practice any religions because religious fanatics are always CRAZY. I mean, Answers, this website, as an example; There are so many ignorant, uneducated, crazy, pro-life religious freaks who start harassing people over the internet just because those people share different views and opinions. It's not just over the internet that these freaks harass people, it's in person too... look at all the crazy religious freaks who attack people on the street. In the past year, I have had over 10 groups of people come to my house trying to convert my family, and trying to take our money. These people go door to door harassing people, and it's really rude, pointless, and crazy. It's a fact, statistics show that extremely religious people are ALWAYS either poor and/or educated so they follow a religion like a fool because they don't know any better.
...I don't like Stalin. Because of him, My grandfather was brutally murdered at 43 years of age, but his religion policies were genius.

Some theists say that for one reason that I can think of. They take the view that if Stalin didn't believe in God, he wouldn't have anybody to answer to in the next life (which Stalin also would've rejected). Quite frankly, I believe Stalin killed people not because he was atheist, but he was just an evil person.

Stalin's killing has nothing to do with his atheism.

it has everything to do with being an evil demented dictator. The same goes for the Vatican. Religion was not what caused them to kill but the power hungry evil popes and Church leaders.

the only reason I mention Stalin is to show that Atheist are not above the same actions as theists

Probably because you don't see as much info on Stalin as you do Hitler. And most of the basic info on Stalin out there simply states he was an Atheist, so, of course, they are going to use that in order to make Atheism look bad.
