i shaved a bit of my eyebrow, because my doctor said i had to remove the hair, (because of an infection, but that's not the point!) I shaved a little bit, but just enough to make it look strange...that was about a year ago, and now my eyebrow still looks messed up! how fast is it supposed to grow back, and could i fix it by getting my eyebrows done? does anyone know any other way I could fix them?

The time varys for different people. Different hair colour and follicle shape effects the timings of the phases. For eyebrows, the cycle is usually completed in around 4 months.

Eyebrow growth cycle times:
anagen phase (the growth phase), 4–7 months
catagen phase (regressing phase), 3–4 weeks
telogen phase (resting phase), about 9 months

I suggest going to a professional and getting them done again.

this idea that hair boom must be inspired with the aid of shaving or plucking is an previous false impression about how hair grows. once hair has been made it is largely useless. No reducing or plucking makes the slightest massive difference to what is going on the position the hair is produced. short hair can experience courser because it grows back yet as quickly because it receives longer you keep in mind that that is in hardship-free words an same because it become previously it become shaved. Age can make a huge difference with youthful human beings having softer hair. Hair frequently receives thicker as you age yet this may take position even if you shaved or no longer.

First of all...it was stupid to shave your eyebrows because of an infected hair folicle. You should have tweezed it instead. And even if it wasn't just a hair folicle, but the whole area...the doctor should have prescribed something to treat it, not tell you to shave the hair. That was a stupid doctor.

Secondly, you don't want to use brow liner or eye liner as these will look too harsh. Try using some eyeshadow instead. It gives a more softer natural look.

As for how fast they grow...like any other hair on your body. If they're messed up from shaving, well I have no idea what you did. Shaving is not going to mess up the way the hairs grow or make them grow faster or slower.

I think it depends on how old you are, as you get older they seem to grow in faster. I trim mine almost daily. I don't want that Russian dictator look.
