Well basicaly this is a partition clone operation .What do u need 4: Using a partition backup tool like Norton Ghost or Nero Backup make a backup of ur partition where the XP is already installed onto 1 or more blank DVDs (depends of the size of data u have into XP partition). Next using a partition tool like Partition Magic create a identical(like size & type) partition on the other computer
Then using the backup DVD s restore XP onto the other PC .
This is the easiest way to do this (there are other 5 ways but little more complicated). Well if this step are finisfed succesfuly need to reactivate online the XP in some cases and install all drivers onto the new PC from original disks.

You can't move a copy of windows from a computer to another.

What you can do is move the harddrive with the windows installation from the old one on the new.

It works like a charm (it'll just take some time till it boots up the first time). This is asuuming youre talking about windows xp.
