If you think (or know) you are pregnant, then chances are its implantation bleeding. If it is a light pink or light brown, it is "old blood" meaning, when then embryo attached itself it was probably a few days ago, and it is just making its way out now. BUT, I am not a doctor (nor do I play one on TV) but I went through something similar when I found out I was pregnant. Call your doctor and he/she will be able to help a bit more.

You should keep track of your period monthy so you know when you're going to get it.
Are you supposed to be getting your period now?
Did you have unprotected sex? if so then this could be a sign of implantation.
If you had sex with protection and nothing wrong happened then I wouldn't worry. It's most likely your period starting.
Remember the regularity of your period can change, you can be days or even weeks early or late. Our bodies are constantly changing. it's annoying but it happens.
Usually I get light spotting before my period comes and then a couple days later I go on to a heavy flow. So that could be your case.
My advice is to wait it out.
I will add this:
not every woman gets implantation bleeding in fact its rare and usually goes unnoticed.

Good luck =)

I had two occasions of this bleeding which can become quite heavy. I was under 16 weeks on both occasions so it was a case of wait to see if it got worse or i got pain.I went to see my doctor who monitored me every couple of days just to reassure me. If you are worried see your doctor.
