I think it's disgusting the way many Americans think nothing of throwing trash out the car window or on the ground. It makes me sick. Environmentalists have such a stereotype in American society too. We are destroying the planet. People just don't want to realize that. They think that since they won't be alive to see it, it doesn't make a difference to them. It's really sad.

Which pollution? And why single out America? Other countries have a much worse pollution record. Or is this another round of "Let's cry about how AMERICA is ruining the world" Are you in a country that owes it's very existence to America? There more countries that would not even be around now, except for America's many sacrifices. Ingrates, all!

According to a report by the United Nations, World Resources Institute, and World Bank, diseases caused by environmental degradation kill one in five children before age five in sub-Sahara Africa and parts of Asia. Many of the pollutants weaken the immune system and make people more vulnerable to bacteria and viruses.

any way it is bad for you and all things that breath

America is the cleanest nations on EARTH..that's a FACT!

Except when the Earth-Day folks come together, when they had their first earth-day celebration in New York Central Park in 1970, it cost the City of New York 10 million dollars to pick up all the trash they left.
