My ex-girlfriend and I both have genital warts and herpes. I told her about the herpes, she didn't tell me about the warts until I had them. We've been living together for 3 years. About a month ago, she told me that she was bored and was going to start dating someone else. He turned out to be someone we both knew, and had been hanging out with a lot for the past 6 months. I considered him my friend.
I'm conflicted about this because I feel like I should tell him for his sake, but at the same time , he took my girlfriend,.. Why should I do him any favors?

don't render evil for evil but overcome evil with good.i'm sure you was not please when she did not told you about her warts.this is serious its s.t.d.tell you girlfriend to be with honest and tell him because if she don't you will.you friend will thank you for protecting him.good luck.

No that would be petty, it is not your place and since she doesn't have AIDS(a life threatning issue) it's not your place to tell. Also tip for next girlfriend....don't hang out "constantly" with other males then you won't have to worry about your girl skipping out on you after three years
Not trying to be funny just being honest, women the same for you, when your in a "committed" relationship, you should not have your mater around your "friends" ALL the time it's just askign for trouble.

It may seem appealing to get your revenge on him this way, but it doesn't sound like he was trying to hurt you in the first place. I don't know all the details, but no matter what he's done to you, he at least deserves to know about the dangerous disease your ex has. If he doesn't believe you, I say let him find out on his own. 1st of all he didn't take her, she went willingly..
2nd mind ur business.. would u tell him about the std if u didn't know him or if he didn't take her from u?? probably not.. it's not ur place to tell.. let him find out from her.. it is up to her to volunteer her business not urs... i'm sure she knows the consequences of spreading an std.. now if the guy catches it cause she didin't tell him then that's there problem to deal with...
if anything just tell him to use protection cause she grimey...
would u want her telling everygirl that u meet that u got a std??
3rd how the h e ll did u and her catch an std, obviously one of u's were cheating....

I can understand your frustration about this guy, however boyfriends and girlfriends come and go, its a part of life. You should of course tell this new guy. We are talking about someone's life, someone's health. You would want someone to tell you wouldn't you?

Yeah, you really need to tell him, If you don't then someone you truly love may end up with the STD's that you could have prevented. Also, don't stoop to their level, be the better man.

You really should tell him, it's something he needs to know. Especially if the girl happens to not tell anyone about her stds until they have them... >_< That's just completely rotten and horrible.
It might be hard to tell him... you might not like the guy... but he really deserves to know. You don't have to like the guy, or hang out with him or be his friend... you can just be like 'I really feel like you should know, she has....' I'm sure he'd really appreciate it. I really suggest you go for that.

Hey! do the world a favor and tell him! who knows who he will be sleeping with in the future? and those he slept with will be with others.Stop the spread of std's! If she does not tell him (speak to her about it first) you tell him. That is a contagious and spreadable disease and he and anyone she comes in contact with should know there is a possibility they could contract herpes.I do not know where you live,but in many communities,all patients treated for incurable, (altho controllable) venereal diseases are reported to the local board of health. Of course,, if she does not have herpes, you would not spread such a rumor for revenge or spite,,,right? And , by the way,,he did NOT take your girlfriend,,no one can be taken unless they want to be gone.

if she didn't tell you about the warts, what makes u think she'll tell him about everything? you know the answer to this!!! do what's right, then move on with your life you deserve better than this! as you know also, it is best to know and seek treatment early!
