Because you have sinned, so have I, and the rest of the world.
His life is a sacrifice for us, as we can't save ourselves. He is the bridge or mediator between us and a holy God.

Well, first of all, this isn't a question but a statement. Nor is your statement regarding Christ with a beard in a robe. In case you don't know history, tartans and togas were worn by everyone. They didn't have sewing machines to create seams!!
As for your "why the hell would he die for me" bit, He died for ALL of us. Yes, even a sinner like you. And, yes, even a sinner like me. Our sin is what prevents us from attaining eternal life. We need Christ's grace and forgiveness if we want eternal life. After all, the alternative is not very inviting.
If you don't believe you were created by God, who do you think created nature? If you look at the wonderful detail in His design, I'm sure you will be amazed. Take a close look at the detail of a leaf, the beauty and necessity of birds, the humor in the design of a zebra or giraffe. Do you really think that with all the detail put into each and every one of our fingerprints that it was just by happenstance that no fingerprint or snowflake is exactly alike?

Well, when you're right, you're right, and you are definately right.
What I have never understood about religous zealots is why they think that their religion is so much different than everyone elses. A rational person rejects all human gods equally, because all of them are equally imaginary. How do we know that they are imaginary? Simply imagine that one of them is real. If one of these thousands of gods were actually real, then his followers would be experiencing real, undeniable benefits. These benefits would be obvious to everyone. The followers of a true god would pray, and their prayers would be answered. The followers of a true god would therefore live longer, have fewer diseases, have lots more money, etc. There would be thousands of statistical markers surrounding the followers of a true god.
Everyone would notice all of these benefits, and they would gravitate toward this true god. And thus, over the course of several centuries, everyone would be aligned on the one true god. All the other false gods would have fallen by the wayside long ago, and there would be only one religion under the one true god.
When we look at our world today, we see nothing like that. There are two billion Christians AND there are more than one billion Muslims, and their religions are mutually exclusive. There are thousands of other religions. When you analyse any of them, they all show a remarkable similarity -- there is zero evidence that any of these gods exist. That is how we know that they are all imaginary.

Just because you have never met Him doesn't mean He hasn't met you. He is His Word, so if you have ever walked by a Bible, you have met Him.
If you want to understand who He is, or why He died for you, take time to read the New Testament. It will answer a lot of questions. But the bottom line is this, He thought you were worth the price.
To parallel the question, why would a soldier die to protect the freedoms we now enjoy. Simply put, it is worth it.

Wow.....you really don't know? I'll pray for you, you need it.
He died for you so that you can be w/ Him. He loves you even though you don't know Him. He still loves you even after you called Him ugly names. And He will always love you. He made the ultimate sacrifice and took your place on that cross. The least you can do is say thank you. Yet you have the nerve to spit in His face and call Him names after He gave you the best gift ever? You make me sad...

Although you have never met Him, He knows you because He created you. He also wants to have a personal relationship with you. That's why He died for you, so that you could have a personal relationship with Him.
What you do with that invitation is totally up to you.

Jesus loves you so much that he died for you and everybody else in this world. Even in you were the only person in the world, he still would have died for you. He loves you that much. 1 John 4:10, "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

Jesus is your savior! He did die for all of us! It says so in the Bible. I'm sure you believe in History. You can believe what the history books say, but you don't believe what the Bible says?

Jesus died for you and me because everyone sins, and He took everyone's sins onto Himself and died so that we don't have to die for those sins, and if you realize that and accept Him into your heart, u will have an eternal life with the Lord.
