Unhealthy to have these people in the US Military but there are crazy people EVERYWHERE.
MORE CRAZY people in civilian land than in the military.
I would not be too alarmed...
They talk alot (with their few and far between fellow fetishists)and late at night they put on their uniform items pop some NAZI marching songs on the CD player and pose in front of mirror:):)

OK ... but what was the question?
Do I believe it is happening? Sure. Anyone who thinks about
right wing extremism would have realized it was inevitable.
The function of military training is (and yes, MUST BE) to prepare
people how to fight. It cannot take extremists and teach them
when not to fight or impart any judgement as to whom their
enemies really are. It just gives you the skills and perhaps
even desensitizes you to killing (all of which is required).
It would be great if recruiters could spot whack-jobs
(technical term), and they probably do spot some, but,
especially when the current military is so desperate for
warm bodies, it won't happen.

My opinion is that its happenning. The Army is having enough trouble keeping anyone in. Or getting new people to join. It is a double edge sword now isnt it.
They could reinstitute the draft and disallow Nazis. but then How many kids would get a Swastika on their arm just to be declared unfit for service.

There are nut job extremists everywhere and in every job there is including the military. So what? What's your point? You don't want an opinion you just want to highlight something that makes the US military look bad. Why? What is your agenda? Are you a terrorist or just another kind of extremist nut job?

u might mean the new christain right that is coming out of military academies from the deep south
they are not strictly nazis, just extreme born again chritians but they take the term 'genetic infantryman' to new levels and could probly put the hitler youth to shame
they uphold tradition white mainstream christian values but dont tolerate other viewpoints (that is at all)

i served 6 years in the army and I never met 1 nazi, although I did meet members of street gangs. so, there you go

yup and there are also lots of hispanic gangs as well, there have been many reports of Latin Kings, MS13, and X3 surenos graffiti in Iraq. Looks like they are allowing anyone in nowadays to meet recruiting goals

from most of your responses, it seems like people aren't as bothered by white racist( which was the articles focus) but inner city gangs in the military is more of a problem??? that's pretty amusing. they're both scum
