I've been with my girl for 10 months and things between us are nice, but not great. they are not like how they used to be, i've tried spicing it up in every angle, i still act like if we had just got together, the hugging, holding hands, the surprises, etc many guys stop doing that after 6months, but not me. i feel that she takes me for granted and i'm getting tired of it cause she doesn't do anything, should i move on? (and i already brought this to her attention and she is obviously not doing anything about it so talking about it won't work.)

There's one thing I noticed...you never said that you loved her. You sound like a very warm and loving guy. Do you know how many of us would love to have our guy hug, hold hands, and surprise us? I can tell you that she doesn't know what she has until she has lost you. My guy and I were the same way...I loved him unconditionally but he didn't appreciate me and we are no longer together. I still love him but it wouldn't have worked for so many reasons. If you already spoke to her and she is unwillingly to work on the relationship, I can honestly say she is taking you for granted. It's always hard to end a relationship but better now than later. It's only been 10 months and the more time invested in the relationship, the harder it'll be... Take care and good luck!

If you're looking to end up in a serious relationship, then remember what dating is for. It's for learning about the person and deciding if they have the qualities you need in a partner for the long haul. Obviously, she doesn't, and no matter how much you care for her, you can't change her. So, move on and find someone who will appreciate what a really great guy you are.

She's not willing to compromise if you already brought it to her attention. It takes two to be apart of a relationship and so far it seems like you've been doing all the work. She's just not the one for you. She doesn't seem care much either if she lacks effort of improving the relationship. It is time to leave.

If you brought it to her attention and she's not doing anything about it, I think you answered your own question. Maybe you just need some back-up to get through it. Move on. She would have worked on it if she felt it was as important as you do.

Maybe she has someone else, or maybe she is just not attracted to you anymore. It sucks that after this long of dating, she doesn't act more affectionate, it's definately not normal for a girl to act this way. Maybe she was in lust with you from the beginning.

No just sit down and talk it out and see if you can comprimise. If you guys are truely in love it will work. Mabe you might wanta ask for space to make sure she is the one???
