I've tried on line - mostly e-post cards or vintage. These postcards will have a sheer paper over them with a welcome message from the bride and groom, The post card is more of a back drop for the name tag on each bag. I was hoping to be able to order them on line and save time and hopefully some $.

Any place in/around Chicago should have them, heck, I've seen postcards at WalMart. If you're not in Chicago, see if someone can pick them up for you, or order them online.
A nice touch would be to put the stamp on the postcard as well.
I hope you're also adding some munchies to the goodie bags, maybe bottled water, stuff like that. Maybe also get some city guides to Chicago, or even throw in the weekend paper that has the section with what's going on. It would also be nice to type up the wedding agenda for them as well, so they know where to be and when. City maps would also be a thoughtful touch.
Best of luck to you!

I live in Chicago. You know I would try to call the dept of special events/or visitors at city hall. I think they have some cards they give out to the tourists for free, because everyone downtown has one. For all the taxes and GAS PRIcES we pay here, I'm sure the mayor can afford to give you some postcards!!! Tell them to add it to my property taxes!
Hey. where is she getting married? If it's a hotel or something, they will send you cards. I got married in Vegas and I called the hotel and asked them to send me postcards to decorate my tables at the shower. I'm sure they would do the same here.
Hope this helps.

Check the Web. But really, postcards aren't really the thing you put in a goody bag. I mean, people expect something a little more useful and upscale than a postcard.

If you are not from Chicago, I suggest calling a place like:
WINDY CITY: CHICAGO GIFTS AND SPORTS
Address: Woodfield Mall, D-209
Middle Level, Sears Wing
Schaumburg, IL 60173
Phone: (847) 240-0500 / (847) 940-0375
Fax: (847) 240-5223
Url: http://www.windycitygifts.com
They are not easy to find online (you can find e-cards everywhere) but actual hard copy post cards are hard to find when you aren't in the city (seeing as how people usually send them when they are in the city) :o) Good luck!

This site prints custom postcards:
http://www.galleriaventures.com/postcardweb
If you contact them, they will make a photo of the Chicago skyline available for your card.

When I think of "Chicago Style Politics" I immediately think of a level of unethical and criminal activity designed to get elected or getting your guy elected at all cost while destroying your opponent and other along the way. That would include voter fraud, bribery, lying, stealing, rigging elections, dirty electioneering tricks, spying, bugging, cronyism with the unions and possible mafia involvement, political favors, and the thirst for sheer power.
