I am running a "Ask the Expert" column in my school newspaper. I got this question and do no know how to answer it. Any ideas?

Dear Concerned,
"Hate" is a very strong word and it saddens me that you feel this way about anyone.
Perhaps you should work this out with a therapist. Or, consider not reading this column if you feel so strongly about this "expert." My advice isn't for everyone, I'm just here to try to help!

Tell them they obviously must think a bit higher of you then they want to let on because who would want an answer to such a ridiculous question? If i dont like you, i just dont like you. I dont need you to tell me thank you or anything. Just let me muster about it, like fester in my own bad juice for a while until i calm down a bit.
That or just toss the question, as i am sure more good questions can be found from someplace else.

This seems to be an outraged and vindictive person. Since you hate my opinion please post a full column in the paper so that I can address your problem accordingly. Last time I checked freedom of speech is the first amendment.

when you wrote you're last column did you say anything to offend that person?If you did than write in the next column that you're sorry for offending that person.who said that they hate you. and then say if there is anything i can do please feel free to come and talk to me about it.Signed the Expert.

I wouldn't even bother printing the question in the school paper, I'd ignore it. I'd only answer questions that have some substance to them.

Obviously it's just a person making a joke, or they could be serious. If you are mature enough, leave it alone and ignore it. If they would actually have the balls, they would come forward with their problem with you!
