No: ignore the idea of studying what has happened in the past that is the standard gambling mistake. Some gamblers follow the past and others back against trends. They will both lose.
However there are ways of increasing your prize if you win.
1> Only buy tickets on rollover weeks ( you get a share of the previous weeks pots too)
2> Choose either random numbers ( lucky dip ) or try and choose unusual number sequences. Many people choose favourite numbers like family birthdays so favour high numbers.
Other people "randomly" spread their numbers across the sheet.
This ignores the possibility of numbers which come up together.
I would save up for rollovers and then choose 2 numbers close together under 31 and 4 over 32 and you might be able to beat the odds just.

Sadly no. However there are ways of making sure you will win more money should you pick the right 6. You need to make sure you aint sharin the jackpot with anyone else. To do this, pick a few numbers over 31, that way you won't clash with birthday picks. Pick numbers around the edge of the number grid on the ticket, people tend to avoid these numbers, and finally never ever pick 1,2,3,4,5,6 the most you could win is around £1000 cause craploads of people play this combo just for the hell of it.

Yes, in theory. It's all to do with probabilty. You need to study the results every week and see which numbers are most commonly picked. Now it is all random, of course, but there is a better chance of a number picked 14 times out of 14 weeks being picked again than a number picked only once in 14 weeks.
However, don't expect this to work well. Odds of winning are in the 7 billion to 1 range and doing this would raise your odds only marginally.

YES... simply invent a time machine, wait for the results and then go back in time an hour and put the winning numbers on. I can't understand why no-one has done this yet ;o)

Run a search for "lottery analysis" and you'll find several sites that offer methods of improving your chances. I think it's all bollocks but hey, go for it.
