my bf is leaving soon for his second year at texas tech, and i wanted to make him a bag filled with all kinds of stuff. maybe a pic or two of us, some candy...some pens pencils...i dunno, haha, im running out of ideas...see if you can help me out...

What i used to send to my bf (of many years ago) wa gift baskets with goodies such as homemade treats, pics of us, pics of his friends, notes from his friends, videos to watch, a phone card every so often and a letter from me. I did that about 3 times a year until he finished just to show him i cared so much about him. He always loved getting them, especially the food.
Closer to christmas i sent him an Xbox and a few games. I also sent him a pair of panties once with a few unmentionables to go along with it. he was giddy over that.

That's sweet. If you want to really make his memory of you last, the night before he leaves, give him a bath. Bathe him from head to toe, slowly and lovingly. He will never forget it.
As far as what to include in his "to go" bag, put in the pictures, and include a note he can read in about 30 seconds that says how you feel about him. Make it short enough to where he can read it anytime, quickly.
Throw in his favorite candy bar too.

yeah thats good but make it exciting, like make little love coupons like "when i see u this ticket is good for one back rub and kiss", or something like that, put picture frames so he can have the pics displayed in his room, maybe a small stuffed animal so he can see it and think of u but not so big that his friends see it and make fiun of him, find out if he needs anything for school or where hes living like sheets, towels, etc and u can do that too. maybe some back to school clothes, a nice comfy pillow so he can relax, write him a poem, or make a list of why u love him, lol if ur brave u can put a pair of ur underwear or a bra inside so he can think of u that way..good luck.

Bake him cookies! I use to make them for my boyfriends when they were in college. It's great because you can mail them and I would dye them wild colors like Green Chocolate chip and when he shared them with his dorm- everyone loved them!
Plus everytime he gets a werid box of cookies- He'll think of you!!

candies?pencils?be serious girl.send him away with a box of perfume his favorite,aftershave,silk tie,wallet or money clip,a new shaver,a belt, socks,cuffs.this might set you back few dollars but you will be on his mind all through his stay.
