I am Mexican and I don't associate Latin as being of Mexican descendants (check your spelling - descent). We call ourselves Latinos simply because we are peoples whose languages is derived from Latin.

Of course not, however if you say, many people think Mexican so It's generalized,
Illegals=Mexicans
It should be fair, Illegals can be any nationality, not only mexicans

The term Latin includes people from Mexico! So if you say Latin, or latino, or hispanic, they are a part of that group!!!!!!!
