In my experience I have been cheated on before 1 to knowing the other 2 possible times I didn't know and never confirmed. A woman doesn't want to have a her heart broken she will contine to be on edge especially coming out of a past relationship. It's NOT insecurity, this would mean she isn't stable, and unsure of herself. Maybe a little untrustworthy of men. Men are the same way they may not acknowledge it though. If a man has been hurt before he will have his guard up as well. Noone wants to be hurt. It's hard to trust someone once it has been broken. To fall in love you must have trust it goes hand in hand ....how so? Well, your allowing yourself to be open and exposing your inner most thoughts to them you would have to trust them and feel the connection of some type of emotion in order to do so.
Definition of insecure:
Not sure or certain; doubtful: unemployed and facing an insecure future.
Inadequately guarded or protected; unsafe: A shortage of military police made the air base insecure.
Not firm or fixed; unsteady: an insecure foothold.
Lacking stability; troubled: an insecure relationship.
Lacking self-confidence; plagued by anxiety: had always felt insecure at parties.
See once someone has been broken down to a level of untrustoworthy towards people it breaks down their confidence within themselves they feel they are NOT good enough. It's NOT always women. Don't be so quick to sterotype and judge us women.

If you are asking that question, you also need to ask if you are doing anything to make her feel insecure. If you are honestly not contributing to her feeling like this, then the reason that she's insecure is because of old baggage-she's probably been hurt before and she's afraid of it happening again. I know that most guys would say that they are not that guy who hurt her and you are not. But I bet the guy who hurt her seemed like a nice guy at the time too.

Because most men are dogs and continuously do things to make their women feel this way. Most are sex craved and never seem to grow up out of checking other women out while with their girls. The one track mind filled with sex and the obsessive need to check out every single women that crosses their path pretty much says it all. You guys act like dogs and then wonder why we think you are and become insecure about the relationship. If you guys could grow up and realize the benefits of treating your women right to both parties involved this world would be a much happier place. Plus men are extremely selfish. Its all about them and what they want when they want it.

Because most men we know are sketchy and even if we want to trust them we feel like deep down we shouldn't be so naive. We've watched lots of guy friends cheat or think about cheating or talk **** about their girlfriends behind their back. Hate to say it but there are very few true and loyal guys out there who wouldn't slip if given a hot drunk girl and the perfect opportunity.

I'm not insecure and I don't try to ask my man trick questions. In most cases - he'll start talking about something and in a few he will have tripped his own self up in a tangle of lies (he's done it a couple of times).

Who are you going out with?
You may not be choosing the right girls.
Who needs games?
Find some girl who's not afraid.
Ask yourself if you are putting off some sort of vibe that could make her insecure. Ask your trustworthy friends.
Just some ideas:)

because as women, generally, when we choose to be in a relationship with a man we are looking for a certain type of man. feeling safe and secure and trusting a man is very important to women and we don't want to end up with dog-types who's main goal is to screw us around with all their crap. i'm sure men want the same thing in women also but i think women are thinking of this far more than men are. men tend to really want to meet women for sex first and then maybe the more important stuff secondly whereas women, in my case anyway, are looking at trust, security, commitment...that sort of thing mainly.

Not me--my husband puts me on a pedestal even more than I want. He's already been told by at least one lady at work that SHE'LL smack the cr*p out of him if he ever cheated on me. And since he's always either with me or at work, he wouldn't have the chance even if he did have the inclination.

Do not think they are trick question! What I think is that your girlfreind really wants to hear something from you some kind of emotional thing usually. When she does not hear what she wants shes try other ways of getting you to be more emtional with her. Instead of just telling you want she really needs to hear.
