My problem is this....we have been friends for 12 years and now dating for 9 months and living together for 3 months. We both love to have sex and are both very much into it usually, but there seems to be a blockage between us, He says it's cause he doesn't see me as a sexual object, just as myself and he respects me and feels something for me he has never felt before. I want to be with him but vibe off his vibe and feel wierd cause I wonder "is he OK, does he like it...." this is killing us and as much as sex is not everything it is REALLY important. How can we get passed this or maybe we should just stay friends. Help, I need advice from guys! he's always dated girls that have been dancers so obviously the animal attraction is there but with me it's almost forced.

That's a really tricky situation. I've found that the best thing to do is just flirt like mad. Get yourself turned on beforehand and tease him and kiss his neck and build up till it IS animalistic a few times and you'll forget you ever wanted to not have sex with him.

When I first started dating me boyfriend there was plenty of animism going on, however now there are deeper feelings between the two of us. We dont worry about ripping each others clothes off, but its more sensual more like making love rather than "animalistic energy". It is deeper than that. You might want to take into consideration what you really want. Is it ripping your clothes off each and just doing it, or having deep connection that no one can disrupt?

It seems awkward because you guys have been friends for so long. Just let the love making come when it does. Just be happy that you have him in your life.
