I'm thinking about going to LA and Vagas for a week starting Aug 30th .. hows that time of the year in that part of the country? (never been)
I'm in my early 20s. Should I go or hold of for a better time?

L.A. has some ok weather right now. Just make sure you stay in the good part of L.A. ... not Compton or Watts or South Central or anything. I would personally go to San Diego instead, no pollution, amazing weather, and tons of beautiful women. Las Vegas is really hot right now. Its in the middle of the desert but if you can stand the heat, its a real great place to go.

Go NOW while you have the chance. You never know what could happen later on. There really is no good or bad time to go. Sure it's a bit hot but so what? You'll have so much fun. Stay on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles and then stay on the Strip in Las Vegas

Actually U couldn't really pick a better time. Christmas is the worst time. But, those cities R always crouded. So, U might as well go because there isn't any better of a time 2 go then now.

Go....and take me with you!! I've been to LA in August before and it's hot, but not unbearable. If it were me, I'd hold off until the fall.....because I can't stand the heat. Vegas is so hot you can't breathe this time of year.

I agree with the person who said you should go to San Diego instead. Much nicer place, with less traffic than LA. LA's too crowded and just plain overrated.

If you have the money, why not? Nice to go sight seeing... especially in Vegas. It'll be pretty hot, but my guess is that in Vegas, you won't be outside much. Lol.
