You get shy because all of a sudden you feel the attention is all on you. Some people get nervous when they seem like the center of attention, its perfectly normal. So when a woman wants you just be yourself, its easier said than done and I know it seems cliche but its soooo true, woman can sense someone who's nervous and second guessing. Act confident even though inside you may not be.

Hey don't feel bad I am 30 Yrs. old and I am dating a 28 yr old and he is very very shy.So first and foremost this is not an age matter.
He's coming around,but I will tell you this.You need try to open up a little bit. Girls don't bit, only if you want them to. First of all if girls are approaching you it's because the want to talk to you (so the might like you). Try askn questions like: what's going on? What are you doing this weekend? things like that.
