First off just cause Im curious. Why is the UK reenacting the American Civil War.....
Ok now for my answer to your question:
No one really seems to have problem to the North or South. Even though we are the same country you can tell the difference from some one from the north compared to someone from the south.....

I personally consider anything above the state of NC to be a yankee state because all the Virginians are wannabee rappers and or hybrid care drivers. also i hate the "real north" still....the accent and the pale skin....SICK

I'm a new englander and i lived in the south for 10 years. they're still very pissed . they say things like, the souths gonna do it again, they still call us damned Yankees. it funny really, in the north it's hardly mentioned in our history and we won. rednecks and runaway slaves, what do you do? they deserve each other for what they tried to force on our country, and starting a racial problem that is still with us today.
