No, I have tinnitus a loud constant ringing in my ears. I never experience total silence. It would be a wonderful experience!

No, but I've tried. Repeatedly. I've only managed it maybe once or twice by myself because I can't seem to shut off the 'worry' button. I've been more successful with guided meditations, but only moderately so. I'd like to be able to do that, but I think it would take years to master completely, & it'd probably take a very good teacher as well.

Not yet. Hopefully I will someday. :-) At this point if I do succeed in this then I usually fall asleep. (Or fall into a really deep alpha state of consciousness like just before you fall asleep and start seeing things -- usually the point at which you suddenly jump because you feel like your falling). I tend to do much better with meditating if I use guided meditations. (Either those I've written or those written by others.)

Blessings and Light!

Are you somewhere stranded
and the wind is blowing through the trees
which brings about an uncontrolled sleep state

Because no one can do that unless they isolate them self
Just sitting here I can hear crickets and cars passing as they head out for the highway

Whenever the silence increases I am out like a light
Like Duh who hypnotized me

Hey who are you anyway
is that you grandpa

yeah i think it's impossible, even when you're sleeping... what do you think dreams are??
the human mind work without your control, if it stop working you'd enjoy the silence... but you'd enjoy it forever cuz you'd proabbly die...
