dmd............
When you take a STAND for Christ. You are very out numbered here. There are too many losers. FORGET what people say. Take your stance, state your scriptural fact and leave. Who cares what people on here think?
Are you running for Office? or Telling the Gospel?
Too many Christians on here is political. They can't take being insulted, so they stay neutral.
read what God says about neutral. HE HATES IT.
why? A person STANDS "FOR" Christ or AGAINST Christ. There is no middle.
I have seen your posts and answers. You tell the truth. People are not here to hear Truth. Most are here to hurt and destroy your faith in Christ. To belittle you, tear you down. Don't fall in they're hands.

Nobody even looks at the "Yahweh" guy's stuff anymore, 'cuz they know he's an idiot.
You, on the other hand are using this site for other than its intended purpose, and I think you know better. People come here to ask and answer questions, and when they open up fake questions, it makes them mad.
And, its against yahoo rules to post "questions" that aren't real questions.
I might recommend that you contact some of the people asking and answering questions if you want to share some information. You can set your profile to allow e-mails to be sent to you, without actually giving out your address. This will protect you from spammers and malicious jerks. All you have to do is click on someones name and then select "contact 'bob'."
Have a great day.

i think the reason you get a lot of rude remarks is because most christians who ask a question write it in such a way that insults everyone elses intelligence. everyone has a different opinion on religion but when you start acting as though you are the only one who has the right religion and no one else does than that makes people of other religions angry. when u ask a question think about what u r going to write and try not to make it sound insulting to people of other faiths and you might just get honest answers and not angry insults. if christians would stop acting like the rest of us are stupid than we may decide that you guys aren't so bad after all.
the moral of this story: treat others as you want to be treated. and remember if you answer a question about another religion other than your own BE NICE!!!!!!! otherwise we'll be rude right back

Turn the other cheek....I have rarely met a christian who did . Instead they always hop up on the nearest soapbox, point fingers and tell everyone around them that we are all going to hell. Without first finding out if we too are religious, caring individuals. So to answer your question, if more Christians actually lived by the rules they defend so intensely when cornered instead of being Sunday morning Christians there would be much less conflict. This was posted by a happily married, CHRISTIAN, church going, father of three. So there!

If you are bothered by very strong responses, both good and bad, limit your questions to subjects other than religion or politics. What is the last time we saw a polite political campaign in the USA? As far as religion, look what is going on in our world right now. Thousands of people are being killed by enemies of their various religions. Can you think of a single war that is now in progress that isn't based on hatred for an others religious beliefs?

I think it's just that there are alot of people on here (& everywhere ELSE- for that matter) who have alot of "issues"- little to say, and no intelligent way of expressing it. Try not to take THEM- personally. I suspect MOST people would ignore them- just like you should, and go on to the answers you're looking for. There are always (& always will be) a few brain dead people in the human "crowd". Consider them "backround noise"- and keep searching for the "music" you like. :) Some people don't know any better- and maybe they're a good example of why YOU should...

the world is coming to an end and jesus will be here very soon. Don't worry you won't have to be around those morons in the next life, they have to stay here. Just remember that sticks and stones can break your bones but names will never hurt you. I want you to try a little exercise, look in the mirror and call yourself names....see I was right. Unintelligent people can't think of anything to say so they very frustrated and try to take their pain out on others. take care fellow christian

I think you are just looking at the questions/answers and not WHO is answering. What I mean is.....look at the answers you received and WHO you received them from. Those same people are not answering the "yahewh" ones. A LOT of people may not like what you say (I don't know---I didn't read them prior to answering this question) -- people have different points of view. Don't worry about it though. I posted a question and wanted people's "thoughts" on an issue (terrorism stuff) and I got one lady who bashed me for asking and giving my opinion. Oh well...it happens. Oh and I wasn't "politically correct" -- of course, typed the question in a hurry (at work) not thinking about the political correctness of my words -- how stupid could I be? LOL

You just have to weed out the rude remarks...those are the type of people who enjoy chaos. There are educated comments from people with differing beliefs that are meant to give you an answer the way they see it. Don't worry about the inane blather...it is just a lack of maturity. Pray for them for they know not what they do.

You control what you do; not how other people respond to the same criteria. Personnally, I think for now I would tend to ignore certain comments and just accept that those comments will occur in a public open forum such as Yahoo Q&A.
