The bible says you must be equally yoked.
Passage 2 Corinthians 6:14:
14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Ultimately that would be up to my daughter. But i would raise her in the wisdom of God's word and trust that she would make right choices that please the Lord. As her Father my job would be to love her, support her unconditionally and off course discourage her from making bad choices- but ultiamtely she has to make those decisions for herself. She's dating the guy, not me... so it doesn't matter what i prefer or like.

I would not be happy if my daughter dated an atheist, but I would love her and hope that she would make the right decision.. Her dad and I have instilled in her a love for Christ, so we know she knows the way.
