Show a little gratitude the soldiers who are over there in the middle east are risking their lives every day to fight the Terrorists and religious wackos.

We are not being allowed to defeat anyone. War is to be run by warriors. Politicians and media have no place there. It is normal tactic to establish a main line of combat and move it into the enemy's territory. We aren't allowed to do this, because of the "innocents" in the way. If you live in a country that harbors terrorists, or any other people that threaten the ideas of freedom, you have a choice, help to bring these people to their rightful end, or get run over in the process. Nobody cried when we bombed Dresden, and there was no great American uprising when we bombed Nagisaki and Hiroshima. When you put out a fire, doesn't it make more sense to completely extinguish it, rather than, wet it down a little, then build it up a litlle, wet it down, so on and so forth ad nauseum? That is what we are doing right now, our so-called leaders, and the bloodthirsty jackals we call the media are dictating our military policy. We are there to wipe out Radical Islamists. People will die. But would you rather see us killed than them?

Im more concerned about our government spending loads of money on lazy azz scammers after hurricane Katrina. At least with the war we are actually doing something instead of helping KFC and cadillac stock go up.

we abide by the rules of war. they do not. unless we said screw it to the rules of engagement and just started killing everyone in sight, this war would be over in a month. but then the politics comes into play and then everything is downhill from there

yeah we're wasting the money that could be used for discovering our universe, treatments to diseases, saving our planet, etc. also, the people that die in this war, many of them are intelligent people that could contribute to saving our planet as well instead of dying in vain....sadly, this is the world today...

1 - 'cause that's what it costs
2 - they can defeat 'em (don't fall for the propaganda to the contrary) - it's that if we just up and nailed 'em there'd be a WHOLE LOTTA dead civilian Iraqis and the politicians really don't want to listen to the noise that would ensue
3 - No
