Jesus is not God.

God is very forgiving. The Bible says :“As far off as the sunrise is from the sunset, so far off from us he has put our transgressions. As a father shows mercy to his sons, Jehovah has shown mercy to those fearing him.” Why is Jehovah disposed to show mercy? The next verse answers: “For he himself well knows the formation of us, remembering that we are dust.” (Psalm 103:12-14)
However, his mercy has limits. He will by no means forgive those who hard-heartedly practice malicious, willful sin with no repentance. (Hebrews 10:26-31) On the other hand, when he sees a heart that is “broken and crushed,” he is “ready to forgive.” (Proverbs 17:3)
God has a required way for seeking and receiving his forgiveness. A person must acknowledge his sin, recognize that it is an offense against God, confess it unqualifiedly, have a deep heartfelt sorrow for the wrong done, and have a determination to turn from such a course or practice. (Ps 32:5; 51:4; 1Jo 1:8, 9; 2Co 7:8-11) He must do what he can to right the wrong or damage done. (Mt 5:23, 24) Then he must pray to God, asking for forgiveness on the basis of Christ’s ransom sacrifice.—Eph 1:7

Christians believe in the triune God. God the Father, God the Son Jesus, God the Holy spirit. See Deuteronomy 6:4 for the answer on this one. Yes you are reconciled to God, the Father through the atonment of your sins by believing in Jesus Christ, God the Son as Lord and Savior. It is the God, The Holy spirit to indwell in you and teach you in all things concering God. Sounds confusing but it isn't

Dear BigPappa,
The Bible says, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." (1 John 5:7). We read in the Gospel of John, chapter 1...and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory..... Jesus Christ is Almighty God. But you must bear in mind that Christ came not to pay for the sins of the whole world, or no one would end up in hell! Christ only came to pay for the sins of His people ie. the elect or His sheep. These elect are found throughout the world in every nation and of every nationality.. God is not a respecter of persons! There are many other Scriptures showing that Christ is God in the Bible. I hope this will help you.

God is forgiving and since Jesus is God in the flesh he has the same character as his father, forgiving. Aren't we lucky.

Hey Cutie and I probably attend the same church.
I don't believe that Jesus is God. I also believe that both God and Jesus are forgiving . . . even though a lot of people don't believe so.

Yes God the Father, sent his only Son Jesus to die on a cross so that we can be forgiven. Our forgiveness is based on Jesus' work on the cross- but it reflects to us the Father's heart. Hope that helps...

Jesus is God's only begotten Son. And Worthy to be praised. If God was not able to forgive then I guess it wouldn't matter if Jesus died for our sins..huh?

God doesn't forgive because there's nothing to forgive. Everything is perfection. There are no coincidences.

How about neither. Forgiveness is only a figment of the imagination of the protestant churches. Jews and Catholics believe in atonement

Jesus dies for our sins. As long as you believe in God and his word he will forgive you of your sins.
