I have fair skin and yesturday I got really burnt like on my cheeks and my shoulders and put Aloe Vera gel on it and Banana Boat Sooth-A-Caine spray.

Will my sunburn turn into a tan??

yes it will. I also have fair skin and i got a really bad sunburn a few weeks ago and now i am really tan. you should lose the redness in a few days and you will notice that you have become more tan.

It does not really turn into a tan you tanned the skin until you burned it and as your dead burned skin sloughs off it starts to reveal the tanned skin. Kind of like burnt toast how if you scrape off the black it looks and tastes ok? If you are sore take a really hot shower it will hurt for a few minutes but it will not burn anymore after you get out.

I got an absolutely horrible sunburn last month. I honestly looked like I was from the burn unit of the ICU center. But the next week, it turned into a tan. Only problem is, it's a farmer's tan.

Probably, but you need to be very careful because every time you burn you damage your skin cells. It'll show by the time you're in your 40s. Your skin loses its elasticity much earlier.

for some people it will but if the tan does come up it probably won't last for very long you will more than likely peel

it acually depends on your skin some turn to tan while others just fade and make it harder to get sunbunrt the next time...

taking a really hot shower to ease a burn is possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard
