In ninth grade, you get to know a lot of people. This is when you start to realize you will be stuck at the school for 4 years or more if you decide to! haha. Anyways, my advice would be to join clubs no matter how lazy you are, join a sport--definitely, and talk to whoever is near you!!! Many teachers are nice, but some are unfair and like stuck-ups. Just don't procrastinate and do all your homework while studying for tests. One last, but most important advice.....DO not fall hard for a guy no matter how bad you like him. There are other guys out there. Dont' make a mistake on this one. Take your time to know him at least or you'll regret later in life.

watch out! ur gonna get canned...ha! jk. ummm. i'm not sure what to expect, cuz i'm gonna be in 9th grade this year 2. just expect harder homework and tests, new teachers, new school, new people, and new schedules. and i dont think it's gonna be a highschool like in tv, where there's a bully and she/he is always pickin on you, or there's a play with a girl for a lead, and both you and the popular chick wants it! expect mean cliques, gangs, and most likely peer pressure. even in middle school, people get pressured to have sex and stuff and i just dont get it! they just wanna waste their lives. anyway...there may be some bumps in the road and drama b/n friends, and some may even leave your group. it happened 2 me and my friends in middle school. but hopefully you'll have other friends this year to help you through it all! you may even get 1 or 2 new ones! just expect many good things and possibly some bad things. but in the end, as long as you pass the ninth grade, it'll be all good and you'll only have 3 more years of highschool left! and then, you're on ur way to, uhhh, well, whatever you wanna do after! good luck 2 you and your friend! and dont worry, a lot of people are probably gonna go through some of the things you two have to go through too. just have fun because you only get to be in 9th grade FOR THE FIRST TIME once! hope you have a good year!

Don't listen to everybody else, 9th grade is a piece of cake. i actually thought it was easier than 8th, and everyone was fine with me. of course, i didnt go around picking fights, but i bet you will be fine. its a hell of alot better than middle anyway.
